A Very Happy Birthday to My Workout Buddy

While we're out enjoying the US Open, I wanted to share a card I made for a friend's birthday, which happens to be today! (I know...nobody ever forgets her birthday anymore!)

I inked up Verve's new Great Friend and kept it pretty simple for this easy to mail card. I love how it turned out, though. I hope she likes it, too. This year, for about the third year in a row, I'm missing her birthday, but this year I was prepared. We took her to MrP's golf tournament where she was able to golf the course she'd always wanted to.

The Pretty In Pink & Purely Pomegranate seemed like they were just made for her and the bits of bling were perfect for this sparkle queen. You can't tell but the ones in the flowers are clear, while the ones around the sentiment are a pale pink.

Anyways, SB, if you're reading this, have a fabulous day!

  1. OH, Tanis...these colours WERE made for each other...what an elegant the bling and flowers (my first fav of the release until I started playing with Dream they both are). Hope you are having a fun time without me!! LOL {wink} I've been enjoying your posts and pictures :) It's like I got to come along even with Chris :)

  2. Stunning!!! The colors are beautiful and I love the bits of bling :)

  3. I'm sooooo jealous you have your Verve stamps! I'm still waiting -- aaaaaaaack!!! Been three weeks now and it's just about killing me. There may be an obituary posting for a customs worker shortly LOL! Okay, tantrum over...for now LOL!

Gorgeous card. Those flowers are so elegant and you have used a great colour combo. I'm sure your friend will love it. Enjoy the Open!!

Thanks for taking the time to comment =) Be sure to include your blog info so I can check out what you arere up to, as well!
