WSC91 - and it's time for WSC92 already!

It's already time for WSC92 and I'm only just now posting my card for WSC91! Beate hosted the Weekend Sketch Challenge last weekend and I was pumped - she always has such amazing examples. (This week was no exception - check hers out here).

Stamps: StampTV Elegant Flowers (Gina K)
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Wild Wasabi
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Wild Wasabi
Accessories: Brides Cream Flowers, Silver Brad, Glue Dots, Sakura Gel Pen

This is what I came up with, using my still freshly inked Gina K stamps. I wasn't thrilled with the final outcome because I'd stamped some other stuff that ended up being covered (if I'd just not stamped it....argh! Live & Learn) I did love the colors, though...can't seem to stop myself from reaching for blues & greens lately. Beate was incredibly kind and made a sweet comment on my SCS post, though, so that's why it's at least up here =)

Last night, I hit up Dinner Revolution for another six entrees (well, actually there was a bonus entree when you ordered six, so I ended up with seven....until I got home and we ate it! ). I'm the dish woman around here - I clean and MrP cooks, so this is my style of cooking. I can go in and within an hour (sometimes more, depending on how many friends are along), I've got six freezer ready meals. For us, it's worth it. We've tried a lot of great new things and become more adventurous with suppers when they're ready to cook after thawing in the fridge. I love it! Plus, I get to feel like Suzy Homemaker and not actually have to be slaving over the stove (because I wouldn't do that...plain & simple!)
Meal prep/assembly seems to be all the rage and I can see why. If you're a super cook like Court & Brooke at
Take it and Like it, then I'm sure it's child's play, but for a non-cooker like me....it's a great solution.
