Mojo Birthday

A little sketch design inspiration from the Mojo Monday 210 challenge, plus my Sisterhood of Crafters Stretch n' Bubbles sponsored Birthday challenge and I was ready to rock and roll with this card....a vision in Kraft, White & Purely Pomegranate if you ask me ;)

Well, you didn't, but I'm telling you - I quite like the color combination. LOL I used some of my previously uninked PTI stamps (How did this happen?! I guess that's a story for another day...and another card!) Anyways, the stamps (candles & sentiment) are from Birthday Bash Sentiments, which are absolutely a joy to stamp with. I added a little glitz in the form of some rhinestones and a whole lot of Spica Glitter pen. I colored the candles with the glitter, highlighted the nestie-sponging and did an edge of glitter on each of the pomegranate panels of the sentiment. They don't show up all that well, though. Darn sparkle!

Speaking of not showing up well, the scalloped kraft layer is embossed with script folder and that doesn't show up all that well either. My photography skillz are lacking. What can I say?!

At any rate, it's sparkly in person and it's on it's way to a friend as a little celebration of the day we were blessed with her presence =)

Join us at the Sisterhood of Crafters for some more birthday brilliance!

  1. Well, now that you pointed out the embossing I can see it! With or without it, it looks just beautiful. I love the perfectly placed bling on the sentiment!
