This time I went with the VLV October 2011 Week 1 Sketch to create a little Birthday love for the Sisterhood of Crafters challenge, which is sponsored by Stretch N' Bubbles. Again, the winner will receive four images of your choice from the shop, which has some super cute ones...including this Strawberry Cupcake!
Finally choosing a non-pink scheme, I used my favorite neutral, Sahara Sand, and some Perfect Plum to create this clean and simple card. I used the title sentiment, Big Wish from Verve and a little bling to sweeten the deal. I added a whole lotta sparkle via my spica litter pen (as you can see above) and voila....
Now if I can get caught up on the rest of the Verve challenges before we head off to San Francisco, I'll be laughing =) Down to six sleeps and I'm officially counting down!
Yummy colour combo and way to make that cupcake sparkle :) That white bow pops wonderfully. How exciting, only six sleeps!! Hope they go by quickly!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love that glittering cupcake! Seems like you have no problems making fab bows, I'm always fighting with mine ;-) Thanks for visiting my blog and your sweet comment! Greetz from the Netherlands, Ira
