Chelsey & I went to an Introduction to Copics class yesterday, so I picked up a Spica Glitter Pen...and realized that my other pen isn't one...LOL. What a goof I am. This is such an awesome pen - doesn't change the color at all unlike my other glitter pen. Woohoo!
I'll try to get some pics of my colored elephant to show you my attempts at coloring...which I'm actually kinda proud of =)
I got clearance to run/walk the 5K event today, but rather than drive 45 minutes north to participate in it, I'm just going to do my own thing today. I picked up my 10K race package on Friday and it was a heck of a drive, plus a zoo to park so I'm happily going to chill out and then check out some handmade goods at the Make It Fair with a friend and her young daughter.
Have a fabulous day!
I'm sure Mr. P's mom will love her card. The sparkle on the flower is wonderful and of course the swiss dots make me swoon ;) Great color combo and use of the mojo sketch too. Enjoy your day at the Fair.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you got clearance to walk/run! Keep heading down that road to recovery!
ReplyDeleteThis card is GORGEOUS! I'm a last minute kinda gal too! But this was worth the last minute rush - you do some good work under pressure!!! Love the glittery flower (spica - swoon!)! Love love love!!!
PS. How's the new bike? Had a chance to ride despite the Achilles injury?
Grrrrr...Stupid Blogger just ate my comment! Anyway, thanks for the blog visits while I was taking a break and I love the great flower on your card! I recently got one of those pens and there is a huge difference from what I had been using. Hope you are good as new by now :)
ReplyDeletehow did I miss this one? That layered flower is fabulous and the buttons are divine :) Gorgeous!
