Almost time for Weekend Sketch Challenge 100....

But for now, let's just enjoy the fact that I completed WSC #99! I also happened to need a couple of cards that would fit some giftage. Thankfully, this week seemed full of challenges for taller, skinnier cards. PERFECT.

Stamps: GinaK Stamp TV Elegant Flowers
Paper: Sahara Sand, Basic Black
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Nestabilities

This simple, yet elegant card was a perfect solution for a quick card.
I can't believe it's October 1st. As it gets cooler here, I'm drawn to the outdoor jogging again. I hope to get doing a little more of it this weekend because I need to get training for next year's Climb of Hope. Yep - I signed up already. And the Resolution Run on New Years day. Let's hope that'll keep me going this fall, as all the baking looks so darn tasty, especially on the cooler days like we've been getting when comfort food sounds just right =)
Hope you have a fabulous day mini Friday!

  1. Lovely card. You know I am a huge black and white fan! I walk 4 miles most mornings, but I have never moved on to running. (I leave that to the husband!) Good for you...Keep it up!

  2. Very elegant! I love the lily. The black and white just add to the feeling of elegance. Fabby job, as usual!

  5. this is so elegant! I struggle with these skinny cards...there's no space!! Thanks for inspiring :) It's cold here too...although probably not as cold as Edmonton...I fired up the fireplace tonight...I just want to nest and make stew!! LOL

  6. were able to make an amazingly elegant card with only 2 colours!!! It looks beautiful.

  7. I love this CAS card - the flower is stunning even though it's not colored in, really makes a statement.

  8. I LOVE monochromatic cards - this is so sophisticated in its simplicity. BEAUTIFUL!

  9. Great card, simple and classy and the sketch is really interesting too.
