Back to School!

Kim's challenge this week at the Sisterhood is to create something with a back to school theme. To me, school always meant books and reading. For whatever reason, it's the one thing that really stuck with me - I love reading (and coincidentally, the library, which has saved me more money than I ever thought possible since I joined two years ago!)

So this Bookwormabella really is like me - always a stack of books around for any bit of spare time. I used primary colors to help with the feel of back to school and the Splitcoast Sketch Challenge 292 as the starting point for this card. Head over to the Sisterhood of Crafters to see what the other ladies created!

I hope you're having a great week - this one's been busy and I seem to have strained something in my foot that going out for a run last night didn't help. Too much horseback riding?! I think not!

Stamps: Stamping Bella Bookwormabella
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Watercolor, Very Vanilla, Yoyo Yellow, Riding Hood Red
Ink: SU Markers (I'm too lazy to list them all!)
Accessories: Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals (pretty simple card!)

  1. okay, I love you, but I can't look at anything Back to School yet...I know you will understand. I also have to avoid the middle aisles at Walmart and Superstore. Seriously!!! Okay, I did peek because there was a Bella on the card!! :D I sure love her :)

  2. I headed for the hills when I saw this sketch and you have knocked it out of the ball park GF! This card is fabulous! Love the bright colours and that cute Bella.

I'm having many a late night reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Just can't put those books down. Midnight to 1:00 a.m is now my new bedtime LOL! Thankfully it is summer and I can get away with it. You'll have to let me know of some good books I can add to my reading list, okay :)

Hope the foot feels better soon (((hugs)))
