This card is destined to be my sister's birthday card (which is on the 18th, but I have to ship it out with her gift on Friday when my Mom's heading out to visit her). You can't see the swiss dots on the rose red paper, but I wanted a simple card for her and this seems to have fit the bill. I followed Mercy's MTSC59 and I'm happy with how it turned out. Plus, I got to use some of my new ribbon =)
oh, one of my favourite Verve sets!! Love how you stamped the butterflies on the background...very subtle yet lovely. It sounds like everyone is happy the Saints won..at least everyone on my Facebook!! LOL I follow curling so I was watching that this afternoon in between card making as well!! LOL Have a wonderful week...when's the first trip? or has it happened yet?

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. Great colour combo and I just love how you used the butterfly as the BG image on the yellow panel. Your sister will love it.
ReplyDeleteI was glad the Saints won as they have never won before and what a huge encouragement to the people in NO as they continue to rebuild that city! Was a great game - must have been you wearing your socks :D
Gorgeous card Tanny! Really fantastic. Ohhh, and the colors - talk about fab! Now you're feeding my habit - I must have this stamp set... It's good that we can enable one another :) Great job girl!
