Hope Big!

Using Moe's VLV Oct 2011 week 3 sketch and the ColorQ Challenge 109, I created this card for a family member who's back in the hospital after almost 10 years in remission with a secondary cancer. I hope the bright colors will add some pop to the hospital room...and my next card for her will feature her fave - PINK!


I used some of my newest Verve - Tag Time and my PTI flowers for this one. Also used a little edging and fabulous seam binding, which is always great for bows. The buttoned up flower was glimmer misted to allow for some distressing (and sparkle).

I hope she likes it - I figure the best way to honour her is to live my life to it's fullest since I know it's what she wants, but I also know it'd touch her heart to get one of my cards that she always loves.

    Sorry to hear about your family member...sure this wonderful card will brighten their spirits. Great take on Moe's sketch and use of the CQ. I just love those PTI flowers and you have layered them fabulously. Great work and have a wonderful weekend :)

    I love the bright cheerful colors and you used one of my all time fav border punches! Love those die cut flowers too :)
