Survived my last race of the year

Well I finished yesterday! It wasn't pretty, but I made it past the finish line upright (although just barely!) Those stairs really kicked my butt. It was a 5K run with three sets of stairs, plus down one of the largest sets of stairs in the city. For someone who struggles with depth perception on those stinkin' stairs, it was a toughie! But good times were had by all, I think, and I suspect it was about 42 minutes worth of exercise, which is better than a kick in the butt in my mind at least.

Here's a card I found in my collection that I loved the soft colors of when I did it, way back in the day! I do love the puns...hope your Sunday is a great one!

  1. OH, so you're an Iron Woman!! LOL Thanks for the deets on the climb :) Was this stamp from an old SU set? I think I remember the puns :) So cute, and you're right, the colours are soft and cozy. My last picture was taken with 4 lights. I also have 2 background cloths...one white and one kind of a beige muslin (Michaels) for cards that are white or cream. I don't know if the difference really shows up on the blog (like you said in your post), but I noticed a difference when downloading them to the computer and editing...much less to do :) Thanks for all your help with it. Now I need to get crisper images that really show the swiss dots background....it never ends!! Can't wait to hear what you want from Verve :)
