Last week, I was so excited about receiving Sheena's Blog Candy and my TGF order that I didn't want to look like a greedy guts, so I waited to share my other winnings that arrived last week from Bootybella Designs....my first Copic Ciao markers!
I'm so excited to give these a try. I've used Chelsey's, but I'm definitely no marker genius like Bootybella, who's Copic Certified!

Scrap 'N Stamp Sketch Challenge

Did you see my creation over at Scrap 'N Stamp on Friday? Yep - I'm a sketch challenge designer for their Friday sketches. If you head over to their blog and give the sketch a try for a chance to win this month's fabulous prize - a Just Rite stamper set with a value of $18.49.

Let me first say "I AM NOT A SEAHAWKS FAN". Okay. I feel better now. If you don't know who 'my' team is...you will soon enough, as I can't get enough of this adorable Ian image from TGF. (hint - my team colors are red, blue & grey - and our QB is married to a supermodel who isn't me) But my Brother in Law is a fan, so I hope he likes his Birthday card (Saturday!) We're celebrating with him on Sunday at the race track, which we seem to get to once a year for some cheap fun (because I'm CHEAP!)

The sketch was one that my wonderful friend Amy posted last Saturday. She's so talented. I can't wait to see what she's got this Saturday.

There's no Bellarific Friday Sketch this week, but I've got Bellas and I wanted to ink 'em up, so be ready for them this weekend!

This card is my submission for Mojo 102 at the Mojo Monday sketch blog. I pulled out the Verve stamps that I had yet to use from my last order and got them inky, which always makes me happy. Of course, they were perfect - which caused me to place another order for some more stamps. (Shhhh...don't tell MrP...) There's a discount on now but you'll have to check with Mercy or Teresa for the code because they're the newest Divas (and when you view their blogs, you'll know why!)

I have popped up the layers of the flower, but you can't seem to tell thanks to my *scoff* outstanding photography. Oh well - thanks for checking it out anyways!

Yay for Tuesdays....and now it's Wednesday!

Gotta like when you have a great mail day!! I had been patiently waiting to receive Sheena's blog candy that I'd won and yesterday, it arrived! Check out these goodies....

And once I'd picked that up from the post office on my way home from work, I discovered the next photo in my mailbox. Well, not exactly as show, but you know what I mean....

My first TGF order! It won't be the last =) I inked up my cute little football player for my favorite Seahawks fan (my brother in law) for his birthday this weekend...but I'll show you that later. (And technically, the Dressy Anyas aren't mine...they're Chelsey's, but what's mine is hers and what's hers is....well, you get the idea).

Today, it's all about the Shirley's 2 Girls Twisted Thursday Sketch challenge...and the twist was RED!

Don't you love berries?!

I know I do! And what I love even more is that they're so easy to download, color and cut out for any project. Because I found these sweet little morsels at Digital-Ink Co.

And wait for it....

I'm on their design team! I got accepted and I only hope I can do these great images justice because the other ladies on the team are phenomenal. Seriously!

The card I created above used Reeces Designs Strawberry Patch, which was one of the freebies last week - and a serious bargain at $1.50! I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #33 for the layout and Ruby Red, Going Gray and Basic Gray on White papers. Prismacolor pencils with gamsol colored my sweet little berries, then I painted on some Shimmerz on one berry and Sakura gel pen to highlight other areas (like the inside of the flower, which of course you can't see because the camera fails to pick up so much of the great glittery goodness we love to use!) I used a signo white gel pen to doodle around the circle and popped the berries on dimensionals. Pretty clean & simple...just my style.
