Fall Themed D-I Co Challenge

This week, it's a theme challenge - FALL! It happens to be my favorite season, aside from the fact that we don't truly get an autumn here in Edmonton. Mostly winter with a little spring thrown in for good measure June through August. I really love summer, but it is over so quickly...oh well. 'nuff complaining!

Stamps: , Elegant Cheer
Paper: Chocolate Chip, White, Autumn Vine DSP, More Mustard, Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango

Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Nestabilities, Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol, Dimensionals

For this card, I used Amy's Saturday Sketch Challenge from Sept 19. We were all given access to some great images from Stamping Dragon Designs. I colored up this image from the Autumn Leaf Stamp Pack (which also includes three theme words that are perfect for coloring) and cut out with my nesties, then used the outline of the nestie to create my border.

Check out the fabulous creations the other ladies have made...
Boni, Darlene, Diane, Jackie, Micki, Raquel, Teri, Jennifer & Kim

Head on over to the Challenge Blog and get coloring for your chance to win this week. Remember to use D-IC004 if you're uploading to SCS or another online gallery and be sure to use Mr. Linky so we can check out your creations - and your chance to win this fun image called Days Gone By from Stitchy Stamps, the creator of last week's cute hippie.

Don't forget about the raffle going on at the D-I Co Challenge Blog, too! It's happening until Oct 19th.

What are you waiting for?!
That's assuming you've gone to my Blog Hop post and commented to let me know if you've ever used digital stamps for a chance to win some blog candy =)

Know what you mean - our summer in Scotland is lousy too. Starts (maybe) in May and gone by September. We're lucky to get much sun, mostly it's cloud and rain, and whatever you guys throw at us from over the pond!! LOL
The card is fabby - great colours!

  4. Girl, I think YOUR card is awesome!!! I love how you colored each leaf a different fall color which after looking outside is what they are, lol. I love using the Nesties, I love the die you used, but I messed up on mine. Still learning how to use them. Love your card and love the elegant sentiment!!!!

  5. Nice arrangement on your leaves. I like how you've popped them up for dimension. That little extra border outline on the Nestie shape is the perfect detail to finish it off.

  6. Those are fantastic leaf images! Your coloring is wonderful and I like that border you drew around the nestie. Seems like and obvious thing to do, yet it never occured to me! I may be trying that soon! Great card as usual!
